was originally founded in 2001 as a small group of friends who
were both video game and art enthusiasts.
The group of friends eventually expanded into a small community after
creating and releasing various
bits and pieces of personal artwork (pictures, music videos, etc.), and also
briefly hosting online gaming
tournaments and competitions.
The group also experimented in "fan-subbing" Japanese anime shows and
television series that, at
that time, were previously unreleased in any other languages.
Around the end of 2003, DVP fell into a state of "limbo", having all
activities being halted or ceased
indefinitely--many of its original members had gone their separate ways to
pursue their own endeavors.
Until around fall 2006 initial planning for a "come-back" was in the works
until the eventual re-opening
at the start of 2007.
Since that time, DVP has been steadily making progress in the field of
Arts & Media once again.
DVP both currently, and will continue to operate now as a production
company / online studio of various
visual arts (Graphic Arts, Hand-Drawn Artwork, Video Game Programming &
Design, Photography,
Film & Video Production, etc.), and strive to expand its territory in the
future as time progresses.
