Mr. Driller Drill Land - Opening Ceremony; Let's go to Drill Land!

  I translated these in-game FMVs, and I plan to translate the rest of them because I'm trying to hone my skills and increase my fluency with the Japanese language. I've included the original Japanese text transcript of both movies on my website ( www.devimension.com ) [in the "Videos" section that corresponds to this specific video] to use as a "study guide". Feel free to use it yourself if you want to brush up on your Japanese.

  One part of the first video I had trouble hearing due to the fact that the voice actor for Hiroshi Suzuki has a very nasal voice. So I pretty much guessed as to what was being said with the words I could barely make out.

  To translate this video, I pasted a white text bubble over the original Japanese subtitles, and added (and timed fairly accurately) the English text overlaid on top of it. Also, don't ask me what the "Byte Generation" is. I simply saw the word "BAITO-dai" バイト代. Presumably, it's the name of Dr. Manhole's evil crime syndicate? Maybe... I don't know, because we've only had three Mr. Driller games officially released in English here in America. This game is one I personally imported and played on my modded Gamecube, then recorded footage from.
